Port Adelaide midfielder Willem Drew underwent foot surgery on Friday afternoon, after sustaining a stress fracture in his left foot during a pre-season training session.

Drew will miss the next 4-6 weeks, and should return to training early in 2020.

The Power expects the fourth-year player to be available for the Marsh Community Series in February.

Drew was drafted in 2016, but played all 10 career games last season, after debuting in the Power's round one win over Melbourne at the MCG.
