Port Adelaide wingman Xavier Duursma is set to miss at least the next three matches after suffering a hamstring injury in the club's win over Fremantle on Sunday night.

Duursma left the field early in the third quarter and was out for the remainder of Port's 29-point win.

In a statement published on the club website, Port Adelaide said that scans undertaken on Monday have confirmed the hamstring strain and is likely to miss three to four weeks of football.

In better news for Port Adelaide, defender Ryan Burton is set to resume training after minor knee surgery and is likely to be available for selection in two to three weeks.

Port Adelaide will name their side to face West Coast on Thursday night.
