Port Adelaide has decided to accept the one-match ban handed to half-back flanker Darcy Byrne-Jones.
The 30-year-old opted to bump Sydney star Errol Gulden during the third quarter of Saturday's match between the Power and the Swans at the SCG. The bump was deemed to be careless conduct, medium impact and high contact by match review officer (MRO) Michael Christian.
Byrne-Jones ran past the ball and bumped Gulden, who appeared shaken but played out the rest of the match.
The one-game suspension means Byrne-Jones will miss Port Adelaide's final home game for the season, which comes against a rampaging Melbourne.
Port Adelaide remains optimistic over the prospects of star midfielder Jason Horne-Francis despite the 23-year-old appearing to injure his knee in the 97-point loss.
