Port Adelaide are reportedly interested in securing the services of Kysaiah Pickett, per reports from SEN's Michelangelo Rucci.

Despite the premiership Demon remaining contracted to the club until the conclusion of the 2023 season, the Power are still trying to get Pickett to South Australia.

Speaking on SEN SA's The Run Home, Rucci said that while the Power wasn't a huge chance of landing the 21-year-old at this stage, they're not backing down from their campaign.

Melbourne has got Luke Jackson out the door and at the other end of the clubhouse they’ve got Kozzie Pickett sitting there with Port Adelaide making all sorts of lures to him to get him,” Rucci said.

“I don’t know about ‘legitimate chance’ (to get Pickett this year) but I know there’s a legitimate campaign, they’re certainly trying, they haven’t stopped trying and they’re ramping it up.”

Pickett played 23 games for the Demons this season, averaging 10.4 disposals, 2.7 tackles and 1.8 goals per game.

Port Adelaide are set to be heavy players in this year's trade period, keen to bring Eagle Junior Rioli to the club, while Mitch Georgiades has been linked with a move out of Alberton.
