It's fair to say that when crossing codes, wires can get crossed, too.
While footy fans that favour either the AFL or NRL are able to name at least a handful of players from their least favourite code, it appears as though it becomes a tougher task if you play the game itself.
Earlier on Tuesday, players from NRL outfit the South Sydney Rabbitohs were asked by the clubs social media team to put a name to the name of several AFL star, and it's fair to say the Bunnies do not keep up with other code's trending players.
Players raised within the video included the most recognisable and current household names of the AFL, including Bailey Smith, Jeremy Cameron, Dustin Martin, Buddy Franklin, Lachie Neale, Nick Daicos and Errol Gulden, with the likes of Alex Johnston, Damien Cook and Latrell Mitchell only able to identify a handful of these AFL star names.
Few, however, had any issues identifying the Richmond superstar in Martin after Souths travelled South to train at Punt Road ahead of the 2023 season.
Latrell Mitchell did find time for a cheeky dig, claiming Bailey Smith was in fact Reece Walsh, a nod to the budding bromance that has formed between the Bulldog and the Bronco.
