North Melbourne has farewelled assistant coach Jed Adcock after three years of service.
Adcock joined the Kangaroos at the end of 2023 after six seasons with Brisbane.
The former Lion joins Alastair Clarkson as one of the departures from North Melbourne.
Clarkson was sacked last month after 82 games in charge. The Roos have not played finals since 2016 and finished this year with a 9-14 record, 14th on the table.
There was a view that the club took a step forward this year, able to push top sides more regularly, but given a relatively straightforward fixture, it was billed as a year the club should have qualified for the top 10.
The Kangaroos have narrowed down Clarkson's replacements to four strong candidates, while North Melbourne assistant Xavier Clarke could also be in the running.
Nathan Buckley and Jaymie Graham loom as the frontrunners for the vacancy, while David Hale and Daniel Giansiracusa are also in the running.
Brendon Lade, Daniel Pratt, Troy Chaplin and Corey Enright were all spoken to by the Kangaroos, but aren't part of the process.
North Melbourne welcomed premiership Tiger Kane Lambert to their coaching staff.
Lambert will be the head of development after spending time with Richmond and West Coast following his retirement at the end of 2022.
