New faces: The most notable fresh face for the Kangaroos is highly-rated draftee Luke Davies-Uniacke, who is expected to slot straight into the midfield. 'LDU' is a big-bodied midfielder and is renowned for stepping up on big occasions.

Former Hawk Billy Hartung is a running machine and a strong chance to line up on the wing come Round 1 after being signed as a delisted free agent.

On the fringe: Braydon Preuss and Majak Daw are the most intriguing fringe players, both capable ruckmen who will likely be fighting it out for a spot. Youngsters Jy Simpkin, Ed Vickers-Willis, Mitch Hibberd, Ben McKay and others will also be developed throughout the year.
