Collingwood has started negotiations to lock down their out-contract stars for the 2021 season.

According to AFL.com, the Magpies have opened negotiations with Brody Mihocek's representatives for a three-year contract extension that includes a trigger for a fourth year.

The 27-year-old kicked 20 goals in 2020 and was the Magpies leading goalkicker for the second consecutive season.

He was originally recruited in the 2017 NAB AFL Rookie Draft.

The Magpies are also confident of re-signing out-of-contract duo Jordan De Goey and Darcy Moore.

Moore played 16 games in 2020 and was named in the All-Australian team for the first time in his career.

De Goey has had an injury-plagued season but managed to kick 12 goals in eight games.
