At least four Victorian clubs are reportedly interested in Essendon star Adam Saad - including Richmond, Carlton, North Melbourne and Melbourne.

According to The Herald Sun, the Blues and Tigers have enquired about the speedy defender's availability.

It follows reports from 7News last week that the Kangaroos and Demons were keen on the 26-year old.

However, The Herald Sun reports that Melbourne have not yet made any meaningful offer to him.

Saad is coming off another superb season for the Bombers, finishing third in their best and fairest for the second consecutive year.

Essendon have reportedly tabled a four-year offer to the speedster, who is currently weighing up his future due to the Bombers' unclear direction.

Saad was originally drafted by the Gold Coast Suns with Pick 25 in the 2014 Rookie Draft.

He moved to Essendon at the end of the 2017 season.
