Greater Western Sydney defender Lachie Ash has been handed his second fine in four weeks for abusing an umpire.
Match review officer Michael Christian handed Ash a $1500 fine for using abusive language towards an umpire during the GWS-West Coast game on Sunday. The fine can be downgraded to $1000 with an early plea.
In Round 19, Ash was handed a hefty $5000 fine for abusing an umpire, with the MRO increasing the sanction as it was deemed the usual fine for abusive language towards an umpire was not enough.

Essendon midfielder Jye Caldwell has become the seventh Bomber to make accidental contact with an umpire.
The club was handed a $20,000 fine when the fifth infringement happened and copped a further $10,000 whack when the sixth incident occurred. The AFL has not said what will happen for the club's seventh infraction.
Caldwell was handed a $3125 fine which can be downgraded to $1875 with an early plea.
The Western Bulldogs have copped a sixth player fine for making careless contact with an umpire after Lachie Bramble infringed in the game against Carlton on Sunday.
The Dogs can likely expect a similar $10,000 fine which the Bombers copped for their sixth incident.
Carlton key defender Harry Dean has been given a $3000 fine (can be downgraded to $2000 with an early plea) for tripping Western Bulldogs' Arty Jones in the second quarter.
Dean was then also charged with instigating a melee/wrestle which was a $1500 fine that can be lowered to $1000.
