Collingwood has made a late change ahead of its crucial clash with Essendon at the MCG this afternoon.
Newly appointed leadership group member and in-form defender, Jeremy Howe, has been withdrawn from the side due to calf tightness.
Matt Scharenberg has come into the 22 as his replacement.

The Magpies currently sit 15th with just five wins and nine losses and must win to keep their very slim finals hopes alive, while the Bombers are 6-8 and sit in 11th place on the ladder and are also in desperate need of a win.
