The future of Gold Coast forward Tom Lynch will be the subject of intense speculation all season long, and another club has thrown their hat into the ring to recruit the Suns' co-captain.

Fox Sports believe St Kilda are the fourth club that are ready to offer the star key forward a mega deal to come to Moorabbin, and are reportedly set to outbid any other offer Gold Coast receive.

The Saints do have the space in their salary cap, and were in the market for a major free agent last year before ultimately failing to sign a big name.

St Kilda are set to make a splash once again, and despite having their eyes on out-of-contract stars such as Rory Sloane and Andrew Gaff, they do have the money to go after Lynch.

The Saints join Hawthorn, Collingwood and Richmond as possible destinations for Lynch, with Herald Sun chief reporter Mark Robinson suggesting the Tigers were "up to their eyeballs" in Lynch last month.

Lynch reportedly received a big-money offer from the Suns earlier this week, although it seems all four Victorian clubs could offer deals in the region of $1.5 million per season.

While the Saints would love a player like Lynch in their side, it would pose the club with a list problem, given the likes of Tim Membrey, Josh Bruce, Paddy McCartin and Josh Battle as the club's key forwards.
