Geelong young gun Jordan Clark has been taken straight to hospital after an incident at training on Wednesday.

Clark landed heavily after a marking contest and clutched at his arm, before being helped off the field by trainers.

The 18-year-old was taken down the race immediately, and was visibly in pain according to onlookers.

Clark has played 18 games for the Cats in his debut season, averaging 13.8 disposals, 4.2 marks and 2.6 tackles per game.
