Carlton veteran Kade Simpson will take no further part in his side's clash with Hawthorn on Sunday.
The 34-year old did not re-emerge from half time until 10 minutes into the the third quarter, and was subsequently ruled out for the day due to hamstring tightness.
Simpson finished with 11 disposals and three marks.
