After the halfway mark of the AFL Season, Mark Stevens and Daniel Harford believe they have seen enough to name their top five players in the competition.

"I just think he is a game-changing beast, little animal of a thing, and I've got him at five.
"As an opposition supporter, you worry about him; he's going to rip the game apart, and I watched him in the first half against the Dogs, and I thought, son, you are the best player in the competition.”

“In number five, and another highlight from the weekend, more recency bias perhaps, Jordan Dawson is the fifth best player in the competition.
"He can play anywhere, and there is no better man for recognising a moment, no better player in the competition for recognising a moment, I don't reckon than Jordan Dawson, so he sneaks into the top five”.
