Gold Coast has unveiled a bold and unique guernsey design, set to wear the AFL's first pink uniform in their 2025 Gather Round clash with North Melbourne.
The Suns revealed a complete overhaul of their branding in November, ditching their logo and guernsey design used since their inception, revealing a brand new logo and two fresh uniforms.
A controversial look, Gold Coast's home guernsey will feature a red-on-red design while maintaining the central-placed logo. The Suns then revealed a starkly different clash guernsey to previous years, abandoning the pale blue uniform for a yellow-based guernsey with a navy logo and panelling.
Continuing with their "Fearless" mantra, the Suns unveiled the next bold part of their rebrand, announcing a predominantly pink guernsey will be worn in a one-off appearance this season.
"Unshackled" to a long-standing history and tradition, the Suns believe they have the freedom to break the boundaries of that other clubs may be restricted from pursuing.
The pink-based guernsey features a charcoal-coloured version of their new waveform logo, and will be worn with charcoal-coloured shorts and pink socks.
The guernsey pays tribute to the "quintessential pink skies of a Gold Coast sunrise".

While it is the first predominantly pink guernsey in the AFL, it is not the first time the colour has appeared at the elite level.
Hawthorn exchanged their gold stripes for pink for three one-off matches from 2016 to 2018 to raise awareness for breast cancer awareness, while Melbourne has swapped their red yoke for pink on six separate occasions since 2010 to promote the same cause.
Vice-captain Touk Miller stated that the head-turning look would separate the Suns from other clubs and attract attention to the team.
"I think it's a really fresh and modern design. We want to be fearless, and in order to do that, we have to stand out," Miller said.
"It's a bold move, it's different and no one else is doing what we're doing. We're trying to separate ourselves from the rest of the pack and this is one way of doing just that."
Gold Coast CEO Mark Evans said the Suns were 'unapologetic' for defying the norms.
"We are unapologetically bold in our ambitions to be a leading force in the AFL, to stand out from the crowd and this design is a reflection of how we've matured and evolved as a club," Evans said.
"We're fifteen years young in the AFL competition, we're not steeped in tradition, and we need to embrace that and push the boundaries that others have set for us.
"It's not like anything ever seen before in the AFL."
One-off Gather Round guernseys have begun to become normalised since the marquee weekend's inception, with clubs utilising the event to create unique designs.
Adelaide wore a bold navy swooping crow design in 2023 and 2024, a modern approach to previous clash guernseys in their past, while Fremantle ambitiously created a "stealth" guernsey with a black base and thin purple chevrons.
Cross-town rival West Coast debuted their navy retro kit in 2024's Gather Round clash, while the Saints brought back their candy stripe uniform.
