Geelong's Tom Stewart has managed to shake off a concerning head knock from Saturday's clash with Fremantle at GMHBA Stadium.
An opening term centre bounce saw Stewart contest for possession and put his head over a loose ball only to go head-first into the body of Dockers ruckman Luke Jackson.
Stewart immediately fell to ground and held his head in the middle of the field before slowly making his way to the interchange for further assessment.
The Cats veteran spent several minutes under the watch of club medical staff with a suspected neck concern before returning to the field prior to the first break.
Young midfielder Jhye Clark remained on standby as the tactical sub.
Tom Stewart is on the bench receiving treatment after this incident in the opening term.

A failed head injury assessment would've placed Stewart in concussion protocols for the next 12 days, putting a line through his Round 2 selection chances.
Geelong are already without Tanner Bruhn (finger), Cameron Guthrie (Achilles), Jake Kolodjashnij (groin) and Jed Bews (finger) due to injury.
The Cats are scheduled to face St Kilda at Marvel Stadium next weekend for their second game of the season, with a trip up to the Gabba to meet with Brisbane to follow in Round 3.
