Collingwood VFL coach Andy Otten has departed the club to "explore other opportunities" after a three-year stint with the Magpies.

Otten led the club's reserves program and assisted with the senior side in 2025, adding to his two years as a development coach since crossing from Hawthorn and Box Hill.

Collingwood's VFL outfit managed a return to finals action this year after winning 11 of their 18 home and away season matches.

The Magpies' state league side bowed out to Williamstown in the Wildcard Round of the finals series.

On Saturday, Collingwood confirmed Otten's exit from the club as he takes another step in his coaching career.

"Thank you and good luck for the future, Andy," a club post read.

"After three years at the Club as a development coach and this season as VFL senior coach, Andy has decided to step away from his role to explore other opportunities."

Otten's departure adds to the list of coaching exits at Collingwood this off-season, with Josh Fraser and Scott Selwood also having left the club.

In further change, development coach Neville Jetta has moved to the role of NGA First Nations and Multicultural Lead within Collingwood's Future Magpies team.
