Fremantle captain, Geelong superstar rewarded for stellar performances: AFLCA Champion Player Votes – Round 5

Brisbane's Cameron Rayner got Round 5 off to a flier, leading his side to an upset victory over Melbourne at the MCG.

Rayner's performance was surpassed the following night by young Essendon midfielder Samuel Durham, who came of age against an experienced Western Bulldogs group.

Sam Walsh and Izak Rankine split the votes in Saturday's thriller under the roof, while Fremantle captain Alex Pearce was rewarded for his defensive efforts in his team's narrow loss.

Jeremy Cameron proved why he is still the best player in the game while Elliot Yeo's return to form has Eagles fans reminiscing on the 2018 year.
