Brisbane star Zac Bailey's player agent believes his free agent decision isn't between staying at the Lions or heading to Adelaide.

Bailey is one of the hottest properties in the AFL, his agent Tom McConville from Mac's Sports Promotions, said no decision on his future has been made.

"Clearly still making it," McConville said on AFL Media.

"It's a bit of a long, drawn-out process with these big free agents. There's a fair bit to consider. No decision has been made yet. There's no real timelines on things. He's just playing his footy at the moment, letting that do the talking. At the right time he'll make a call."

The Crows are understood to have put forward a monster seven-year deal worth $10 million, while Brisbane's offer hasn't quite reached those heights.

Essendon is another club looking to bolster its list, while Melbourne, Collingwood, Richmond and St Kilda will all be active players in the off-season.

"No I wouldn't say that," McConville added.

"There's a lot of club who are picking up the phone about Zac Bailey. But at the moment, he's rapt at Brisbane. I think there's plenty of clubs out there, so I wouldn't say it's down to just those two clubs.

"At this stage, there's a fair bit to play out."

Bailey's teammate Sam Marshall is also an intriguing prospect, given he comes out of contract at season's end.

Marshall has struggled to cement his spot in the senior side, playing two games this year after featuring in last year's grand final side.

"He's a talented young man and had a lot of interest in his draft year," McConville said.

"We've been fielding calls about him. But it's not at the stage where we've met with clubs."

McConville, who also looks after North Melbourne's Wil Dawson, said the club and player have opened talks on a contract extension.
