Former Melbourne football boss Alan Richardson has taken his talents to local football, joining the Yea Tigers club for 2027.
The role will be within the junior football club, helping develop its junior teams for 2027.
The Tigers are excited to have Richardson's knowledge and experience at the club.
"Alan brings with him an outstanding football résumé, including six years as senior coach of St Kilda, along with coaching roles across several AFL clubs throughout his career," the statement read.
"We're incredibly excited to have someone with Alan's experience and knowledge helping us shape the future of junior football at YFNC".

Richardson enjoyed a successful playing career, having featured 114 games for Collingwood from 1987 to 1996, but missed out on playing in the 1990 Grand Final after injuring his collarbone in the preliminary final.
Richardson retired at the end of the 1996 season, and returned to his local club East Burwood, coaching them to a premiership in 1999 and 2000.
After coaching Coburg in the VFL for two seasons, he joined the Western Bulldogs as an assistant coach in 2003.
He then had coaching stints across Collingwood, Essendon, Carlton and Port Adelaide before landing the senior coaching job at St Kilda.
St Kilda would finish bottom of the ladder in Richardson's first season as head coach, after winning three of their first five matches.
Richardson's most recent role in the AFL system was as general manager of AFL football performance at the Melbourne Demons.
He joined the club in 2019; he was a key figure in the Demons' premiership success in 2021.
Richardson retired from the AFL industry at the end of the Demons' season.
Earlier in the season, he and other high-ranking Melbourne officials were caught up in controversy after allegedly sharing private details about Steven May and his partner with other players and their partners in a meeting.
