Port Adelaide ruck-forward Peter Ladhams is on the lookout for a new home after being told by the Power that he should consider a move elsewhere this trade period.

The 23-year-old is contracted for next year, but is a victim of a crowded Port forward-line.

Scott Lycett is the first-choice ruck, and key forwards Charlie Dixon (two years), Todd Marshall (one year) and Mitch Georgiades (two years) are all locked in for the foreseeable future.

These five clubs may consider making a move for the Norwood product:

The Magpies are in need of a tall forward, with 29-gamer Darcy Cameron and Brody Mihocek currently making up the brunt of Collingwood's shallow key position presence.

Mason Cox's future in black and white is uncertain, as the 30-year-old Texan is currently without a contract for the 2022 season.

Collingwood recently tried to tempt out-of-favour Melbourne forward Sam Weideman to Victoria Park, before he eventually re-committed to the Demons on reduced money.

Nabbing Ladhams to partner with Cameron and Brodie Grundy in the ruck might be a smart move for the Pies to make.
