Every AFL club's squad for the 2027 season is coming together, so how does each team's back, midfield and forward line stack up with their rivals?
We at Zero Hanger will be going through all 18 clubs, analysing and ranking them 1-18 across all three thirds of the ground. We started with the backline last week, and now it is time to rank the forwards.
While the draft, delisted free agent signing period and trial spots remain for clubs to recruit players, the majority of each team's starting 23 are in place.
Focusing on the players at their disposal, their style of football in 2026, and with a look forward to Round 1, 2027, this is how we ranked every club 1-18 for its attack.

Forwards: Aaron Cadman, Brent Daniels, Darcy Jones, Phoenix Gothard, Oliver Hannaford, Jake Riccardi, Cody Angove, Josaia Delana, Nathan Wardius, Riley Hamilton, Callum Brown, Max Gruzewski
It feels like the Giants will be skating on thin ice in 2027 in terms of the depth of their list.
While the top-end talent is undoubtedly great, if a few injuries accrue over the course of the season, the scoring output could plummet.
This forward line belongs to Aaron Cadman with Hogan now at Collingwood, with the emerging Max Gruzewski as his sidekick.
GWS has some talented smalls at its disposal as well, with Brent Daniels a star and the likes of Darcy Jones and Phoenix Gothard providing plenty of dash and skill.
Losing the experience of Hogan, Jake Stringer and in particular former skipper Toby Greene will be massive for how the forward line functions.
Greene's on-field leadership and match-winning moments will be sorely missed.
