Every AFL club's squad for the 2027 season is coming together, so how does each team's back, midfield and forward line stack up with their rivals?
We at Zero Hanger will be going through all 18 clubs, analysing and ranking them 1-18 across all three thirds of the ground. We started with the backline last week, and now it is time to rank the forwards.
While the draft, delisted free agent signing period and trial spots remain for clubs to recruit players, the majority of each team's starting 23 are in place.
Focusing on the players at their disposal, their style of football in 2026, and with a look forward to Round 1, 2027, this is how we ranked every club 1-18 for its attack.
Brisbane

Forwards: Kai Lohmann, Logan Morris, Cameron Rayner, Charlie Cameron, Conor McKenna, Zac Bailey, Oscar Allen, Lincoln McCarthy, Eric Hipwood, Koby Evans, Cody Curtin, Ben Murphy
The best forward line in the competition belongs to the three-time reigning premiers - hardly a surprise.
Brisbane's forward power was on full display in those final four minutes of the Grand Final against Fremantle when it roared back with a blaze of goals, brimstone and glory.
The Lions have arguably the best young key forward in the game in Logan Morris. Although the adjective "young" can nearly be stripped from that title.
Cameron Rayner, Zac Bailey, Kai Lohmann, Charlie Cameron and Conor McKenna are all great and can play as speedy goal sneaks or mid-sized forwards.
It's hard to see how this forward line slows down next season. And with Oscar Allen given more time to adjust to his new club and get his body right, Brisbane, thanks largely to its forward line, will be fighting for flags for many years to come.
