Essendon captain Andy McGrath will return for this weekend's clash with North Melbourne.
He is one of several players who have come off the injury list at during the bye at The Hangar.
It will be the skipper's first game under interim coach Dean Solomon.
Jye Caldwell will also line up, adding important potency to the midfield mix, with Darcy Parish also expected to return
Isaac Kako has not featured since Anzac Day due to a back stress fracture but is considered a strong chance to be available for selection. It is unclear whether he will return at AFL or VFL level.
Angus Clarke, Matt Guelfi and Vigo Visentini will all return via the VFL.
Zak Johnson, Kyle Langford, Peter Wright, Rhys Unwin and Liam McMahon will all be available within three weeks, giving Essendon a strong chance of an improved finish to the season.
