North Melbourne have secured the services of West Coast forward Jack Darling following a trade agreement with the Eagles on Monday.
The Kangaroos have sent the Perth club Pick 67 in a straight exchange for Darling, who will become North Melbourne's most experienced player for the 2025 season.
Darling has played 298 AFL games since debuting with the Eagles in 2011, playing 20 or more games in 12 separate seasons - including his four most recent campaigns in the royal blue and gold.
The 32-year-old will be a welcomed addition for Roos spearhead Nick Larkey, who has struggled to find support in Alastair Clarkson's front third over the past two seasons.
Darling has kicked 532 career goals to leave West Coast as the second-highest goalkicker in the club's history, trailing only premiership teammate Josh Kennedy.
The trade for Darling leaves North Melbourne with Picks 2, 25, 43 and 61 for this year's AFL Draft, while the Eagles' hand now holds selections 3, 26, 62 and 67.
North Melbourne are also in line to add Sydney veteran Luke Parker this trade period, while West Coast are in negotiations with Hawthorn that will eventually see Eagles defender Tom Barrass move to Victoria.
