Essendon have landed star GWS midfielder Dylan Shiel, in the dying stages of the trade period.
The Giants have landed pick 9 and Essendon's 2019 first round pick, while giving the Bombers Shiel and their future second round pick.
Trade paperwork officially lodged.

Shiel nominated the Bombers early last week, although the two parties couldn't agree a deal until late on Wednesday evening.
The Giants star was an All-Australian in 2017, and has played 135 games for the club.
He has averaged 24.4 disposals, 3.9 inside 50s, 4.8 clearances and 3.1 marks across his career.
