Port Adelaide has sent Pick 103 to Fremantle for Will Brodie.

The 27-year-old has played 54 games across stints with Gold Coast (2017-2021) and the Dockers (2022-2025), but hasn't been sighted since 2023.

The Suns originally drafted Brodie with Pick 9 in 2016, but have struggled to cement his spot in the AFL.

Brodie will reunite with Josh Carr, who took over Ken Hinkley as the Power's senior coach, having spent time together in Western Australia.

They get him on a two-year deal.

"As a big-bodied midfielder, Will is strong in the contest and will add important depth to our midfield group," Port Adelaide list manager Jason Cripps said.

"Will had his best AFL season in 2022 playing 24 games under Josh Carr as his midfield coach and had the ninth most clearances in the competition.

"We look forward to him making the most of his opportunity as a Port Adelaide player."

The Dockers farewelled Liam Reidy (Carlton) but acquired Judd McVee.

Port Adelaide has welcomed Corey Durdin and Jacob Wehr during the 2025 player movement period.

The trade period closes on Wednesday, 7:30pm (AEDT).
