Fremantle defender Nathan Wilson has been injured during a brawl at a 21st birthday party on Saturday night in Mandurah, Western Australia.

Fresh off the Dockers' win over Port Adelaide on Saturday afternoon, Wilson was caught in a street fight according to Nine News Perth, and was punched in the face.

A Fremantle spokesperson said Wilson notified the club shortly after the incident, and isn't under further investigation from the Dockers.

“Wilson had to have two stitches to a cut above his eye,” the spokesperson said.

“Police attended an address in Mandurah where the party was being held and have subsequently advised that Wilson is not under investigation with regard to the matter."

It is believed the violent incident occurred after party-goers were told to leave just after midnight and became aggressive.

Wilson has played 33 games for the Dockers since moving to Fremantle at the end of the 2017 season from GWS.
