Jesse Hogan will become the 13th four-club player in the AFL era after confirming his move to Collingwood ahead of the 2027 season.
Hogan formalised his move to the Pies on Thursday, with GWS telling the gun forward he would not be offered a contract beyond this year.
But the key forward's move to Victoria won't be the first time he plays football in the state, having started his AFL journey with Melbourne in 2013 after he was taken with Pick 2 in the mini-draft of 2012.
Hogan burst onto the scene, playing 71 games and kicking 152 goals in six completed seasons. Three of those years he kicked 40-plus goals, earning him the 2015 Rising Star.
Being drafted from the WAFL, he moved to Western Australia, taking up a brief role at Fremantle, featuring in 19 games over two seasons.
An AFL lifeline at the Giants in 2021 put the star forward on the map, turning his career around. Hogan ticked off exactly 100 games for GWS, kicking 239 goals in the orange and charcoal.
His time at the Giants included the 2024 Coleman Medal, an All-Australian blazer and a Kevin Sheedy Medal.
Hogan will reunite with Lachie Schultz at the Pies after the pair shared a couple of years at the Dockers.
