Delisted Fremantle veteran Nathan Wilson has signed with the Peel Thunder for two more seasons.

Wilson was originally recruited by GWS from Peel in 2011 before returning to Perth in 2018, playing 155 games across his career, including two finals campaigns at GWS in 2016 and 2017.

Wilson was delisted by Fremantle at the end of the 2023 season, having only played six games across the last two years.

After he was delisted Wilson completed the rest of the WAFL season with Peel, playing an integral role in pushing for a grand final berth before falling short of a premiership by 39 points to East Perth.

His contribution to Peel has not gone unnoticed, with Fremantle Football Boss Peter Bell noting this upon Wilson's delisting.

"In addition, Nathan is proudly a product of the Peel Thunder Football Club, and nothing would make us prouder than to see him finish his time at Fremantle with a Thunder premiership," Bell told fremantlefc.com.au

Fremantle also delisted Eric Benning and Travis Colyer whilst Joel Hamling, Lachie Schultz and Liam Henry all found new homes during the trade period.
