The delisted free agency pool holds another extensive list of AFL players that may have more to offer in 2022.

With clubs containing to finalise their squad for next season with both gains and losses, those that are keen to continue recruiting may look to those that hold experience in the top flight.

With this in mind, we look at 14 players with left plenty to offer that could gain a reprieve ahead of the new year.

2. Brayden Sier

The big-bodied midfielder always looked destined to be unleashed into the Magpies' midfield and enter a breakout campaign at the Holden Centre, but a jump to the next gear never took flight.

Sier showed plenty of potential in his debut season of 2018, even playing a key role in the Magpies' Grand Final performance loss to West Coast.

Form and injuries placed Sier's career on edge, with Collingwood now pulling the trigger to offload the 23-year-old in 2021.

With the potential to explode still there, Sier could be a formidable addition to a midfield lacking a contested advantage and would come at a cheap price for any keen suitor.
