Bombers among clubs interested in contracted Saint

Essendon are understood to be among several clubs expressing interest in fringe Saint Ben Long.

According to AFL.com.au's Mitch Cleary, a number of Victorian rivals have Long in their sights, despite the 24-year-old being contracted until the end of next season.

Long signed a three-year deal with St Kilda in March, 2019 - securing his services to the Moorabbin club until 2022.

Blues showing interest in Eagle

Carlton are understood to be keeping an eye on potentially departing Eagle Jarrod Brander this off-season.

Reports earlier this month suggested Brander would not be offered a new deal at West Coast for 2022, however the Eagles are yet to confirm the critical list call.

Now, according to Fox SportsTom Morris, the Blues could look to swoop on Brander as they look to bolster their midfield stocks under Michael Voss.

Cats’ asking price for Clark

Geelong's asking price for wanted speedster Jordan Clark is reportedly placed between Fremantle's first and second-round selections, according to The Herald Sun.

The Dockers and Clark are believed to have met ahead of next week's exchange window, with the 21-year-old assessing his options to potentially return to his home state of Western Australia.

Clark is yet to officially lodge a request to Fremantle, however, should the former first-round selection look to be traded West, Geelong will be aiming to land a second-round selection at the very least.

Interstate suitor linked to out-of-contract Hawk

Port Adelaide are understood to have out-of-contract Hawk Tim O'Brien in their sights this off-season, according to reporter Sam Edmund.

Speaking on Trade Radio on Monday, Edmund revealed that the Power are a potential suitor for the 27-year-old, who is facing an uncertain future at Waverley.

O'Brien, along with fellow Hawks forward Oliver Hanrahan, will reportedly need to wait on a new deal at Hawthorn for 2022.

Future of Suns young gun in the spotlight again

Ben King's future at the Gold Coast Suns has once again come under question. AFL Trade Radio's The Early Trade discussed the clubs that should pursue the young forward if he requests a move back to Victoria.

Since being drafted by the Suns in 2018 with the No.6 pick, there have been speculations around King's future at the club.

Earlier this season, it was reported that St Kilda were looking to pursue King to pair him with his brother Max to create a dynamic forward setup.

FIVE potential landing spots for Jarrod Brander

West Coast utility Jarrod Brander is believed to be heading for the exit at Lathlain Park, with a return to Victoria potentially on the cards.

Reports emerged earlier this month that the 22-year-old would not be offered a new deal past the 2021 season.
