Collingwood has taken a significant step away from its usual training schedule by heading up to Queensland ahead of a crucial clash with Gold Coast on Saturday.
The Pies were boarding a flight to the Sunshine State on Wednesday at 2pm, with the Daicos brothers, Isaac Quaynor, Patrick Lipinski among others set to take to the air.
The club has opted to reduce the load on the training grounds at Olympic Park during the winter months, with multiple programs taking to the field at the KGM Centre.
The Victorian powerhouse will have its main training at Southport Sharks Football club on Thursday before coach Craig McRae's weekly press conference.

The clash between Collingwood and the Suns shapes as the biggest game between the two clubs ever, with both sides vying for a position in the Wildcard Round.
The Pies have revived their Wildcard chances with two consecutive wins over Port Adelaide and Richmond, while Gold Coast is on a freefall, slipping outside the top 10 for the first time this year after its loss to Fremantle.
The Suns have lost five consecutive games, with their last victory in Round 10 against Port Adelaide.
Collingwood has winnable games against North Melbourne and Carlton in the next fortnight, while Damien Hardwick's men will be challenged by Adelaide (away) and the Western Bulldogs.
Saturday's game at People First Stadium will kick off at 4:15pm (AEST).
