There are grave fears Jamie Elliott has suffered a serious knee injury late in Collingwood's game against West Coast.

The Pies had all but secured a game-winning lead when Elliott took a mark inside 50 and landed awkwardly on his left knee.

He was stretchered off and in visible pain.

The 33-year-old is contracted for next season, but an ACL injury would cast some doubt over his future given he likely would not return until the second half of next season.

Elliott kicked two goals in a minute in the third quarter to help turn momentum Collingwood's way in Scott Pendlebury's record-breaking game.

The injury followed captain Darcy Moore being ruled out of the game at half-time with a hamstring injury suffered in a ruck contest.

Small forward Will Hayes also failed to play out the game, injuring a shoulder in a marking contest earlier in the fourth term.

The small forward kicked 60 goals in a career-best 2025 and has remained an integral performer for the Pies this season, particularly late in games.
