Collingwood has announced three delistings but has committed to relisting one of those players.

Harrison Coe and Noah Howes have not been offered contracts for 2027, while Harry DeMattia has also been delisted with a commitment from the club to re-select him in the rookie draft.

DeMattia was signed until the end of 2027 in late 2024 but has yet to break through for a debut and his name was floated as a potential mover in the trade period if he could find a suitor.

The Magpies used Pick 25 to draft De Mattia in 2023.

Collingwood remains open to considering Howes as part of preparations for the upcoming national or rookie drafts.

Meanwhile, Coe's delisting was inevitable following the signing of Flynn Riley.

He was selected out of Frankston's VFL side as ruck cover following an ACL rupture to Oscar Steene.

The Pies showed interest in Riley mid-year, but he was nabbed by Carlton, with Collingwood instead taking the mature-ager who did not break through for a debut.

Next Generation Academy talent Jai Saxena, who had flashy form at VFL level, has been extended for another year.

“We are pleased to have Jai sign on for another year. He has shown great potential throughout this season at VFL level and we look forward to where he can take his football with another pre-season under his belt,” list boss Justin Leppitsch said.

“We have made the difficult decision to farewell Harrison and Noah. They have both been valuable members of our program and we thank them both for their dedication and contribution to the black and white.

“To allow for flexibility in our list management, we have decided to delist Harry but are fully committed to re-drafting him via the rookie draft later in November.”
