All 2021 National Draft hopefuls are understood to be accepting of the COVID-19 vaccine, leaving little worry to club recruiters.

The AFL's mandate on vaccinations originally placed some concern on the possibility of top draft talents opting not to receive the jab, with clubs in contact with prospects in recent weeks to better understand their stance.

The draft is set to commence on Wednesday, with the opening night of proceedings set to see the first round of selections take place prior to the remaining picks the following evening.

Clubs will have no need to worry about the status of this year's draft class, with all draftees that have nominated for next week's count willing to receive the vaccination if they haven't already, according to AFL.com.au'sย Callum Twomey.

The news comes just days after the AFL confirmed that VFL, VFLW and NAB League players will also be required to be fully vaccinated ahead of next season.

Any players unwilling to receive the vaccination will not be permitted to be involved in games or training, with the policy in line with the AFL's mandate for the top flight.

The AFL has also looked to sway the SANFL and WAFL to consider a similar policy for next year.
