Geelong have confirmed the jump numbers for their nine recruits ahead of the 2022 season.

Former Hawks ruckman Jonathon Ceglar will pull on the No.15 jumper as he begins his new tenure at Kardniia Park, having previously worn No.18 with Hawthorn on 101 occasions at AFL level.

Delisted free agent recruit Tyson Stengle will wear the No.18 jumper - which he previously wore with the Crows in 2020 - as he replaces Charlie Constable's locker at the Cattery.

Young ruck Toby Conway will pull on the No.6 jumper previously worn by premiership ruckman Brad Ottens, while fellow draftees Mitch Knevitt (No.10), Cooper Whyte (No.11), James Willis (No.20), Flynn Kroeger (No.25) and Oliver Dempsey (No.28) have also been handed their first jumper numbers for Geelong.

Irish recruit Oisin Mullin will wear the No. 34 jumper, sharing a locker next to Cats superstar Patrick Dangerfield.

Geelong's first-to-fourth year players have begun their pre-season preparations for the 2022 season, with more senior figures set to return in the coming weeks.

The Cats have confirmed their list for the 2022 season, with Chris Scott having just the one list spot available ahead of the Pre-Season Supplemental Selection Period.
