Carlton defender Jack Silvagni is reportedly in doubt to face arch rivals Collingwood on Friday night at the MCG due to an ongoing groin complaint.
Silvagni battled through the pain to face Port Adelaide in Round 16, but is understood to be training away from the main group with the rehab collective at Ikon Park.
The father-son gun was subbed out of the Round 10 loss to Sydney with a groin injury, and missed the following week.
According to Channel 7's Mitch Cleary, the 27-year-old could miss more than the Pies clash, which would be a massive blow to the Blues given the key players already sidelined through injury.
Games against Brisbane, Melbourne and Hawthorn are to come, for which Silvagni could be in doubt to feature in.
Fellow defender Jacob Weitering is also nursing a troublesome ankle, but was seen against the Power, albeit not at the standards Carlton fans have become accustomed to.
Dashing defender Adam Saad will miss Friday's game due to a concussion.
Draftee Harry O'Farrell debuted when Silvagni missed in Round 11, and he poses as the likely solution to the defensive injury crisis.
Mitch McGovern has been swung forward in recent weeks, but could be utilised down back to tackle Collingwood's tall attack, which on the weekend consisted of four (Brody Mihocek, Dan McStay, Tim Membrey and Charlie West) marking targets.
Ruckman Marc Pittonet could be recalled to add height to the club's forward line, while Harry Lemmey is in line to debut after impressive form in the VFL.
Sam Walsh (foot) and Harry McKay (knee) are missing from Michael Voss' lineup, as are fellow first-stringers Matthew Cottrell (foot) and Nic Newman (knee).
