Western Bulldogs draftee, Tim English, who made his debut for the club in yesterday's 40-point win over St Kilda, had a less than ideal preparation for his first game yesterday.
The young ruckman was involved in a car accident on his way to the game and his car was completely written off.
Luckily it was only a minor collision and the 19-year-old was uninjured and he took his place in the team, finishing with seven disposals for the game.
"I think someone went up the back of him and I think the car was written off and had to get towed away," teammate Tory Dickson revealed on The Sunday Footy Show.
"He wasn't late or anything, but it was a nice little story for his first game."
English, who stands at 205cm tall, was selected with pick No.19 in last year's National Draft.
