Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has confirmed Tyson Goldsack, Daniel Wells and Jamie Elliott will all miss Monday's game with Melbourne, but has admitted two of them could return for the Pies' first fixture after the bye.

The trio all suffered injuries against Fremantle in Collingwood's win in Perth on Sunday, and Goldsack seems to be progressing in his recovery the quickest.

Goldsack cracked his scapula in the second term of the match and returned to the field in the second half to play out the contest, with Buckley suggesting he could be right for their round 14 match with Port Adelaide at the MCG.

Elliott could miss anywhere from the next 1-4 weeks, while Wells looks to be at least a month away according to Buckley.

In good news for Collingwood, father-son selection Callum Brown will debut on Monday, after playing strongly for the Pies in the VFL so far this season.

The son of former Collingwood captain Gavin was taken with pick 35 in the 2016 National Draft.
