Brisbane coach Chris Fagan has poured cold water on any injury concerns surrounding star forward Logan Morris, who nursed a calf issue to end Saturday's semi-final win over Adelaide.
Morris was seen with ice on his calf in the final stages of the 53-point victory, in which Morris contributed two goals from just 57 percent time on ground.
With a seven-day turnaround to a trip to the MCG to face Hawthorn this weekend, Fagan was quizzed on Morris' ailment as the Lions eye their fourth successive grand final appearance.
"He just had a bit of a crokie, and we had the game under control," Fagan told SEN's Fireball.
"He's a very important player for us. So we chose to take him off for the last few minutes and ice him up."
The Lions could have a selection call to make on defender Noah Answerth, who narrowly missed out on the Crows clash due to an ankle injury sustained the week prior in Brisbane's loss to Sydney.
Answerth was given until the 11th hour to prove his fitness for the Lions' second final, but fell short, and could be required to prove his fitness once more this week as Brisbane prepare for a trip to Melbourne.
Young tall Ty Gallop came into Fagan's side in place of Answerth for his 19th appearance of 2026, managing 10 disposals and three intercepts.
Brisbane will name its 23-player lineup for the preliminary final on Thursday, with finals teams to be locked in an hour prior to Saturday's 5:15pm (AEST) bounce.
