Greater Western Sydney midfielder Stephen Coniglio has signed a two-year contract extension.

Coniglio, who was already contracted for 2017, will now remain with the club until at least the end of the 2019 season.

โ€œHaving been at the GIANTS since the start and seeing where we are headed, I had no hesitation in re-signing,โ€ Coniglio said.

He has played 84 games with the Giants since being selected with pick No.2 in the 2011 National Draft, but he has enjoyed a breakout season in 2016, averaging 28 disposals, 3.1 marks and 5.7 tackles per game.
