The AFL have confirmed changes to the Round 21 fixture, with a number of matches shifting due to COVID-19 enforced changes.

Geelong's clash with Greater Western Sydney will move to Friday night, as the Bombers' and Bulldogs match was forced to be moved from the primetime slot and onto the Sunday schedule.

This change was due to the Bombers already having one five-day break in their campaign, with an AFLPA agreement not permitting clubs to have multiple breaks of such short spans.

The round will also welcome the return of Monday night football, with the Demons heading to Perth to face West Coast at Optus Stadium

This move was to ensure the Demons had the appropriate amount of time to quarantine before playing in Perth.

The round will also include the 50th instalment of the Showdown, as Adelaide host Port Adelaide on Saturday night.

The annual Pride Match will also see St Kilda host Sydney at Marvel Stadium on the same night.

The league is yet to make a call on crowd capacities and ticketing for Round 21.
