Carlton have unveiled their official on-field apparel partner, signing a 10-year sponsorship deal with PUMA.

In addition, the Blues have updated their logo to just a monogram, dropping the emblem.

The Blues announced the partnership Friday morning in what is one of the biggest sponsorship deals in league history, as PUMA become the clubs supplier for players, coaches, members and supporters for the next decade.

Both Carlton and PUMA have released a range of apparel on the clubs website and have noted that 2020 playing kits will be released in a matter of weeks.

PUMA are one of the worlds leading sports brands, pairing with Premier League outfit Manchester City, Serie A club AC Milan, Ferrari and world record sprinter Usain Bolt.

“This is a landmark deal for our football club – to be working alongside the most innovative sports apparel company in the world in PUMA will see us continue to grow the Carlton brand to be bigger and better than ever before,” Blues CEO Cain Liddle told the club website.

“A significant focus for us in this new apparel deal was ensuring our members and supporters were provided with Carlton merchandise that had an extensive range and was of an extremely high-quality – PUMA certainly ticks both of those boxes.

“Our new playing kit will be a proud acknowledgement of our history as well as a look to the future and we are excited to share it in the coming weeks.”

General Manager of PUMA Oceania Pancho Gutstein added his excitement with the partnership.

“We’re really excited to work with such a proud organisation with so much tradition and history.” Gutstein said.

“Investing in local sports is important for our brand, and this historic 10-year deal with Carlton is a game changing partnership.”

“Not just on field, but off the park as well delivering Carlton’s passionate members and fans a wide variety of training gear and apparel in their beloved Navy Blue.”

“2020 will be the start of many exciting seasons to come.”
