Pies push for star Lion
Collingwood is understood to have offered Brisbane gun Lachie Neale a $3 million offer over three seasons, ultimately blowing rivals out of the water.
Neale is considering his future beyond 2026, with his family returning to Perth.
The Pies are keen to bring in some midfield talent to assist Nick Daicos, but also keep the club in premiership contention.
A report by the Herald Sun suggested Neale wanted to return to Western Australia, and spoke to Fremantle on the possibility of a reunion in a bid to win more flags.
Lions coach Chris Fagan believed a move to Victoria would be a "head scratcher" given he has family in WA and SA.
English on the move
Western Bulldogs ruck Tim English is a name floated to be departing the Whitten Oval.
English's home state is Western Australia, but signed until the end of 2029, shooing away interest from West Coast.
According to former Hawk Jordan Lewis, it would be a "surprise" if he remained in the tri colours in 2027.
"It would surprise me if he (Tim English) was there next year." 👀

Frontrunner for emerging Sun revealed
Gold Coast mid-forward Bailey Humphrey looks to be on the trading block once again after a failed move last year.
Humphrey wanted to return to Victoria, with Melbourne and Hawthorn leading the charge for his signature, despite his contract expiring at the end of 2028.
But as trade talks ramp up, it is the Hawks believed to be the frontrunners this time around.

Trio of clubs join race for Gold Coast forward
Jed Walter is quickly becoming hot property in the AFL.
According to a report on the Agenda Setters, Geelong, Hawthorn and West Coast have joined the race for the uncontracted forward, who is weighing up a five-year deal at the Suns.
Essendon and Collingwood have been linked to Walter.
Time running out for Hill
Collingwood forward Bobby Hill is running out of time to make an AFL return in the black and white.
After taking time away from the club for the better part of the last year, Hill make inroads with multiple games in the VFL, before stepping away for the delivery of his third child.
Despite a brief appearance at training in recent weeks, the Norm Smith Medallist's future has become cloudy once again.
Xander: "Time is really running out for Bobby Hill."
Tom: "There are people at Collingwood and around Bobby Hill that are seriously questioning whether he'll ever play for Collingwood again."

Third senior Bomber seeking move
Zach Merrett. Jordan Ridley. Darcy Parish.
The trio of Essendon veterans are understood to be considering their futures away from the club, despite holding contracts for at least next year.
Merrett (2027) is wanting to head to Hawthorn for the second straight season while Ridley (2029) has his eye on a move to Queensland, with either Gold Coast or Brisbane suitable destination.
And Parish (2029) is another name to watch in the trade and free agency space.
"From calls I made today, it sounds to me like there is a level of discontent within some of the senior playing group."
