Green - who is currently sidelined with an ACL injury - is understood to be offered a whopping seven-year deal worth over $9 million.
The Giant on-baller comes out of contract at the end of next year, coinciding with the Devils' introduction into the AFL.

Dockers list boss anchored down amid Carlton interest
The man responsible for Fremantle's list, David Walls, has refused a move to join Carlton.
The Blues are on the lookout for a new list boss after Nick Austin departed amid a sea of change. He joins Michael Voss out the door as the club enters a new era.
Walls joined the Dockers in 2008 as one of their recruiters, and then spent six years as national recruiting manager before taking on the head of player personnel role in 2020.
He is overseen the drafting of Andrew Brayshaw, Hayden Young, Caleb Serong as well as the trade acquisitions of Luke Jackson and Shai Bolton.
"He is a flat no – he is staying at the Dockers." ⚓

Longmire on Bombers' radar
Essendon has paid out Brad Scott in full this year, meaning they will be free to hit up an experienced coach, like John Longmire from 2027 onwards.
Scott's money owed for the contract next year will be placed in the 2026 soft cap, opening the door for more money to spend on big names, if the Bombers go down that path.
"Next year there is plenty of money to bring in someone like John Longmire, and I believe he is very much on that club's radar."

Power youngster subject to racial vilification
A 32-year-old could be sent to jail for alleged racial vilification of Port Adelaide's Jase Burgoyne, which could set the tone for incidents of this nature.
The Glenroy man faced the court on Friday, and is understood to be employed by the Indigenous affairs sector for several years.
The man is being brought up for a charge on July 13, 2025 - the same day Port Adelaide faced West Coast.
Reports have indicated Ethan Quinn hid behind an anonymous account which directed the abuse towards Burgoyne.
"There are several heroes in this story and one of them is Shaun Burgoyne... who convinced an initially unwilling Jase Burgoyne to take this to the Police."

Eagle soars to new deal
West Coast defender Reuben Ginbey is understood to have penned a three-year extension, locking him away until the end of 2030.
Ginbey has enjoyed a career-best start to the season, taking down some of the game's best key forwards.
Giant responds to Origin critics following serious injury
GWS defender Sam Taylor feels he has let the team down following his return from a hamstring injury he sustained during State of Origin in February.
Taylor was sidelined due to the high-grade nature of the injury, and now has his reservations about the concept.
"I don't have any regrets about playing the game, but the way I went about it and my preparation. It sucks missing footy, I hate missing footy, and hopefully if I get picked again, I'll do it a bit differently," Taylor told AFL Media.
"I've been told 'yes' and 'no' from teammates and coaches. I'll leave it to them, but I want to play. But I don't want to miss footy again.
"I've let them (the Giants) down this year, and I feel terrible about that – I'll leave it to the skip and the coach.
"It was a pretty surreal experience. It was a great bunch of fellas, and WA pride, there was a lot. You really felt it when you were out there, WA really got behind us as well. It was a pretty cool feeling."
