Adelaide's Max Michalanney will miss the first round of 2027 after his suspension was upheld at the AFL tribunal on Wednesday night.
Michalanney was charged with striking Brisbane's Charlie Cameron in the first quarter of the semi final loss to the Lions on Saturday night.
The Crows tried to argue Michalanney pushed, rather than struck, Cameron, but was unsuccessful.
The charge was upheld with the incident graded as intentional, medium impact and body contact.
“It is an unfortunate result as we believed we presented a strong argument to the Tribunal,” Crows EGM of Football Adam Kelly said.
Michalanney played every game for the Crows this season and has played at least 20 games each season sicne he was drafted in 2022.
