Delisted Bomber Shaun McKernan is set to sign a one-year deal with St Kilda, according to The Age's Daniel Cherny.

The 30-year old was let go by Essendon in September to put an end to his six-year career at the club.

He was also linked to the Demons, who reportedly tabled a one-year deal for the ruckman/forward.

However, McKernan has reportedly settled on the Saints as his destination for 2021, with the big man to serve as ruck insurance for Paddy Ryder and Rowan Marshall.

McKernan has booted 72 goals from 87 AFL games, crossing from the Crows to the Bombers at the end of the 2014 season.
