Greg Swann was crystal clear in his assertion that gut punches will be a one-week suspension, minimum, earlier this year.

West Coast Eagles recruit Harry Schoenberg was the first player to receive such a sanction this season, but two Hawthorn leaders look set to join him as casualties of Swann's crackdown.

Dylan Moore and James Sicily, in separate instances, gave away free kicks to Port Adelaide players for gut punches off the ball.

Both incidents occurred in the third quarter. Moore struck Logan Evans whilst trying to attain separation, while Sicily gifted ruckman Jordon Sweet a post-siren shot on goal after his indiscretion.

Coach Sam Mitchell declined to comment on the incidents, having not seen them, but stated "I hope not," when asked about the prospects of the two men missing matches.

Swann alluded to a memo sent to all clubs in the pre-season regarding what would be grounds for a suspension, and it would appear that both men hit all three markers.

"Swinging arm, closed fist, off the ball," he said.

The MRO are expected to hand down their findings from Saturday's fixtures on Sunday afternoon, but both men appear morals to miss Hawthorn's ANZAC Day clash with the Gold Coast Suns.
